Our mission is to connect the home, school and community, and to enrich every child's learning experience. The PTA provides funding and volunteer support for academic and enrichment activities for our students while promoting family participation and involvement. We believe in creating a strong and diverse school community through educational programs and family involvement events. 


The next PTA meeting of the 2025-2026 school year is Tuesday, April 28th, 2026!

Alumni Award

South Bay Elementary PTA is offering two $500.00 Alumni Awards for graduating seniors this year! The requirements are that the student must have attended South Bay Elementary School, be graduating high school June 2026, have proven service to our community, and be willing to speak at the 5th grade Moving Up Ceremony on June 16th. To enter, please write a paragraph biography including the student's years at South Bay, accomplishments, community service, volunteer experience, etc. and submit it by Friday, May 15, 2026 along with their name, email address, and current high school via email to Matthew Sullenberger at SouthBayPTA.President@gmail.com. Applicants will be notified of the award by Friday, May 29, 2026.
